Certified French teacher, I offer personalized online French lessons tailored to individual goals and learning paces.
I’m a 42-year-old mom of two, delighted to be living in Luxembourg and teaching French to students all around the worldg online. I'm certified by Alliance Française and do speak Russian, English, Spanish, and German. Want to know more about me and my approach? Check out the interview below!
Why do I teach French?
Before I started teaching languages, I was just like my students — a language learner, starting with French that hooked me from a young age. This experience really opened my eyes to what learners go through and how to tackle those challenges head-on. My six-year-old daughter, who already speaks four languages, keeps me on my toes and constantly pushes me to try new things in my teaching.
As a French teacher, I’m all about sharing my passion for languages and coming up with fun, accessible ways to learn that suit everyone’s needs. My main goal? It’s not just to teach French but to get people excited about connecting through different cultures, which I believe can truly transform lives.
How do I teach?
In my classes, I like to keep things structured yet personal. We’ll use a well-rounded set of top-notch materials that cover everything from grammar to chatting in French, making sure you're building strong communication skills along the way.
Each session is tailored to match your pace, cater to your interests, and adapt to your learning needs. I’m always tweaking our lessons to highlight your strengths and address any challenges, creating a cozy, supportive environment that’s all about your growth in French.
What could be an example of an "out of the box" class I gave?
One class that really stands out was when we mixed a bit of mindfulness meditation into our A2 French lesson. My student, who loves yoga and sports, was excited to try meditation in French.
It turned out to be a wonderfully smooth experience for her. She was amazed at how naturally she picked up the French vocabulary for different body parts and followed the meditation instructions— all without stressing or overthinking. It was a chilled-out session that sneakily boosted her French skills!
If I could invite any figure from the French-speaking world to my class,
who would it be and why?
Françoise Sagan’s writing, with its beautiful French and free-spirited style, invites us to explore themes of personal freedom and identity. Her stories open cozy conversations about life’s big questions, making us think about who we are in the world around us.
